I would like to inform those that are interested that we do plan on providing subscriber only content. We will be implementing CBSubs and provide subscriptions to exclusive content; our plans are as follows.
We have 2 subscriptions planned thus far:
- Beta Tester - With this subscription you will have access to the Beta forums and Beta downloads section. We will push ALL development to the beta downloads section for approx. 1 month depending on the amount of testing needed. You basically get an early look and usage at ALL development exclusive to Beta Tester subscribers only.
- Support - With this subscription you will have access to ALL support boards on the forums. Your questions will have a much higher ratio of being answered and any issues corrected then anywhere else on the boards. While you may request help on the discussion boards; we have no obligation to answer them and will generally only provide support if the issue appears to be a valid bug.
- Donation - Of course we'll have a donate feature as we've always had, except we do plan to give reward to those that donate; likely in the form of Karma. As always, all donations are greatly welcome and appreciated.
We may add more, but as is the above sounds reasonable to us. We do not wish to hold any projects to our selves and always want them to be released free of charge, but the intent of the beta tester plan is to give those who truly want an early look at what's to come, but also a way to separate those who are truly dedicated to helping further the projects development.
We do not have prices as of yet, but are surely open to suggestions. We've considered $15/Year for Beta Tester and $35/Year for Support, making $50 a YEAR total. We would really like to know your opinion on this matter, but please keep in mind we release all development as GNU/GPL and completely Open Source.
At this time the locations mentioned above are open to everyone. This is a limited time for this until we've setup the subscriptions. So everyone is welcome to use the support forums as you please.
